« LAS TERRENAS » in the Caribbean in Dominican Republic (capital Santo Domingo), is a village located in the Samaná Province, on the north of the island, on the edge of the Atlantic.
This unique place displays 35 Kms of beaches, waterfalls and rivers, large green valleys, whales that come to reproduce themselves each year in the Samaná bay, while the International Airport Samaná El Catey, is only 15 min away.
This Caribbean village has 28.000 inhabitants including 9.000 expatriates (French, Italians, Swiss, Belgians, Canadians, Germans, Spanish, Dutch’s, English and Americans), added to tourists and Dominican population.
Las Terrenas is also one of the most beautiful places of the country, wit a mix o races an languages including French, which is commonly spoken, and this nice little village at the edge of the sea quickly became a beach resort to the European way.
The proximity of other countries is very favorable for tourism and business. Venezuela, Panama, San Martin, San Bathelemy, Cuba, or the United States are at about 1h30 of flight, and Canada only 4h.
The Dominican Republic is a stable country, and many enterprises or French groups have invested and have been part of the Dominican economy for a long time.
Finally, here there is no religious problem or racism. There is a majority of Catholics, but also Protestants and Adventists, and Dominicans will always welcome you with kindness and a smile, because it’s their nature.

Las Terrenas offer many activities as four-wheels, horseback riding, boat, windsurf, kite-surf, tennis, golf, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, etc. And of course the International El Catey Samaná Airport, with international flights to USA, Canada, France and other destinations.

A notary authenticates the acts, signatures, and you are protected by a property document at your name (or at the name of your society if you want), when you buy a property, which is registered at the Lands Court.
The property is personally yours, and no Dominican associate will appear on your property titles, as that’s the case in some unsure countries.
